Frequently
Asked
Questions

If you don't find the answer to your question below,

please let us know!

We're here to help.

Where is your office?

The short answer: Everywhere!

We offer consultations for individuals and families primarily on video chat using the platform Zoom.  If you need to use the phone instead, please email us to let us know once you've made your initial appointment.  Faith Community Support or Speaking Events are provided either via Zoom or by traveling to your community for in-person events.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Unfortunately, most insurance providers do not cover consultation services.  There are some rare exceptions to this for caregivers who have certain diagnoses themselves.  We are always glad to provide documentation that you may submit to insurance to try to seek reimbursement; just let us know before your appointment.

I need help immediately. Can I call you?

We understand that living with dementia or being someone's support can be ever-changing, sometimes minute to minute.  We do not offer crisis counseling services, but rather strive for more in-depth and ongoing relationship throughout the course of the disease process.

If you are in need of help this moment, call the Alzheimer's Association 24/7 Helpline at 1-800-272-3900, or call 911 if you feel in danger.
